Joe Bugeja
Joe Bugeja was born in Floriana in 1930, the eldest of a working class family of ten children who experienced the relative poverty of those times. He earned a B.A. (Hons) in 1964 and an M.A. in 1966, both in English Literature. In 1973, he also read sociology and political science obtaining an M. Litt a post graduate degree, from Oxford University. His teaching career spanned forty-eight years. Joe Bugeja is married to Candida Camilleri, and are parents to two sons, Christopher and Bernard.
Joe Friggieri

Prof. Joe Friggieri (born 1946) is Professor of Philosophy and a member of the Senate at the University of Malta, poet, playwright and theatre director.
Friggieri was the first professor of philosophy on the University of Malta faculty not to be a Catholic priest and succeeded Peter Serracino Inglott in 1996 upon the latter’s retirement. He holds doctorates from the University of Milan (Cattolica) and The University of Oxford. Friggieri has been guest research scholar and lecturer at the Universities of Venice, Amsterdam, St Andrews, Augsburg and Genova.

Għallem il-Malti għal fuq minn tletin sena fl-iskola Sekondarja tal-Kumpless Ninu Cremona Victoria u l-Malti lil residenti barranin li jgħixu f’Għawdex. Għal għadd ta’ snin Assistent Kap kif ukoll Aġent Kap tas-6th Form f’Għawdex. Għadna nsibuh bħala Eżaminatur fl-Orali tal-Malti tal-Matrikula fil-livell Ordinarju u u Intermediate. Membru tal-Akkademja tal-Malti u awtur ta’ bosta poeżiji, essays u features letterarji (wħud minndawn nstemgħu fuq ir-Rediffusion u anke fuq Calypso Radio matul il-Gimgħa Mqaddsa u fi żmien il-Milied). Kiteb mill-ġdid ir-rumanz storiku Nikol Abdul b’malti rivedut tal-Akkademja u stampat mill-KKM u li daħal ukoll bħala wieħed mit-text books għal eżami tal-Matrikola. Maħtur Kavallier tal-Ordni Unione Cavalleria Cristiana Internazionale (UCCI) fl-1984 u huwa s-Segretarju tal-Għaqda Gurnalisti u Kittieba Għawdxin sa mit-twaqqif tagħha fl-1960. Għal snin twal membru fl-Astra Dramatic Company u President tal-fergħa tal-Irġiel tal-Azzjoni Kattolika,Victoria. Joe Vella Gauci
Joe Vella Gauci was born on 17 Junuary 1964, in Victoria, Gozo, Malta. He studied Philosophy and Theology at the Sacred Heart Seminary in Victoria. Upon completion of his studies, he was ordained a priest in 1988.
After his ordination, he pursued further studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He was awarded a BA (Hons) in politics and Religious Studies in 1990, after just two years. This was followed a year later by a Masters in Oriental and African Religious Studies at the same prestigious scholarly institution of SOAS.
John A. Mizzi

John A. Mizzi (23/06/1925 – 05/02/2013) journalist born in Birkirkara. Mizzi was educated at the Lyceum. He joined the Allied Malta Newspapers in 1947, serving as picture editor, news editor, features editor, news editor of the Times of Malta and The Sunday Times of Malta.
He has been Malta correspondent of The Daily Telegraph and Sunday Telegraph (London) since 1962 and also served as local correspondent for British Union Press; International, Religious News Service, and U.P. International Television News.
John J. Borg

John J. Borg was born at Rabat on 28th February 1964. Studied in Malta and in Italy and in 1992 joined the ranks of the Museums Department, where he spent most of the time assisting the curator of Geology and Palaeontology at Ghar Dalam Cave and museum. In 2001 he moved from Ghar Dalam to the National Museum of Natural History, taking charge of the biological collections. An ecologist by training, John focuses his research on seabird biology and the ecology of micro mammals, particularly bats. Results from his research have been published in local and foreign peer reviewed journals.
John has also authored and co-authored the following publications;
John Paul Cassar
John Paul Cassar is a practicing artist, art historian, art critic, curator and educator.
He contributed various art reviews as a free-lance critic for the Daily News (1978-1981) and the Times of Malta (1998-2001), and has written numerous articles for exhibition catalogues and curated various exhibitions.
Josef Grech
Josef Grech iben Martin u Dorothy xebba Caruana. Twieled fl-24 ta’ Mejju 1981. Il-Mużika twieldet miegħu għax ommu kienet iddoqq il-klarinett u d-drums ma’ diversi baned Maltin. Josef ħa l-edukazzjoni tiegħu fl-iskola Primarja ‘A’ u ‘B’ tal-Belt Valletta, wara fl-iskejjel Sekondarji.
Josef wera l-ġibda li kellu għall-mużika sa min età żgħira, filfatt beda jitgħallem il- mużika ta’ erba’ snin, fl-1985 ma’ Mro. Victor Debattista u ma’ Mro. Carmelo Caruana mal-banda Cittadina King’s Own tal-Belt Valletta bejn l-1987 sa 1991 ma’ Mro. Carmelo Pace. Għalhekk ma setax ma jibnix fuq sisien sodi l-ewwel tagħrif tal-arti mużikali. Aktar tard beda l-istudju fuq il-kuntrapunt, fl-istrumentazzjoni, storja, forma u direzzjoni għand is-Surmast Joseph Tonna.
Joseph A. Briffa
Joseph A. Briffa is an architect who graduated at the Royal University of Malta in 1961 obtaining his B.Arch., degree and the diploma of A.& C.E. He later joined the Public Works Department in 1963 and retired in 1997 as the Director of the Construction and Maintenance Department following the reformed Works Division. This Department had the Restoration Unit of the Division attached to it thus providing Briffa the opportunity to work in the restoration and maintenance of the Presidential Palaces and public monuments.
Joseph Briffa also obtained a diploma in religious studies from the University of Malta in 2002 and an M.A. in Baroque Studies from the International Institute for Baroque studies within the said university in 2004. In fact Briffa wrote this monograph as an outcome of a revision of the dissertation on the same subject which he presented in partial fulfilment for his M.A. degree.
