Description
Among the Neolithic structures found scattered around the Maltese islands, the Tarxien Temples probably are the ones which most echo the spirit of the people inhabiting the islands at the time, even though their surrounding natural landscape has been lost. This is due to the high level of artistic and technical accomplishment one can observe in their construction, carvings, and objects found within.
