Description
The purpose of the text is to sensitise Further Education students to the main themes, practices and concepts of Systems of Knowledge. To this purpose, its 40 units cover the 4 modules of Systems of Knowledge (10 for each module). The text is in line with the new MATSEC Syllabus IM32/2018.
The text contains contributions by 22 different authors. Most of these authors work in five major Further Education Institutions: University of Malta Junior College, Msida – Glorianne Borg Axisa, Sandra Mifsud Bonnici, Philip Caruana, Mark Debono, Suzanne Gatt, Joseph Gravina, Christopher Pollacco, Janet L. Savage, Daniel Sultana, Joseph Vancell, Mary Grace Vella and Nicholas Zarb; Sir Michelangelo Refalo Sixth Form, Gozo – Michelina Debrincat, Alfred Grech, Mark Sagona, Stefan G. Said and Annalise Spiteri; De La Salle College, Cottonera – Ben Chetcuti and Jeffrey Mallia; St. Aloysius College, B’Kara -Dorianne Pellicano; and Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary, Naxxar – Miriam Magro. Mirraine Rizzo works at the Environment Resources Authority.
The book is edited by Mark Debono (Chief Editor), Christopher Pollacco (Editor Module 1), Mary Grace Vella (Editor Module 2), Daniel Sultana (Editor Module 3) and Joseph Gravina (Editor Module 4).
