Description
This is a story of the Maltese Infantrymen who served in “The King’s own Malta Regiment” during World War II and in peace time in Malta and overseas.
The story is based mainly on the personal experiences of Lieutenant-Colonel C.J. Borg whilst serving with the Regiment which he also commanded from 1952 to 1962.
The author also describes what life in the field was like in Malta during the long war years and how one survived and lived to fight from day to day.
