Description
Non-calculator Tests has been designed to stimulate interest in mathematics. It is a supplementary resource, which can successfully be used for individual, partner or even group work. The aim behind these tests is to encourage students to think, before putting pen to paper and to try and find the shortest route possible to arrive at the result.
‘Non Calculator Tests’ is in line with the new Mathematics Syllabus. It Also includes questions in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) as recommended by the same syllabus. In fact, every test has a question pertaining to the spreadsheet or to the programming language LOGO.
‘Non Calculator Tests’ contains 600 questions. A separate answer book is also available. These tests have been tried with different levels of Form 2 students and have been found to be extremely beneficial in aiding them to find quick, short and accurate methods to work out the problems. Students have found these tests challenging and, at the same time, also enjoyable.
