Growing up in the Algerian city of Oran, little Yves loved exploring his mother’s wardrobe and designing dresses for paper dolls. But life outside his family wasn’t always happy – at school, he was teased for having different hobbies and sometimes, he even pretended to be ill to avoid lessons.
