Description
The dictionary includes all the entries of the 1997 edition, (edited by Michael J. Schiavone and Louis J. Scerri), which were updated and, where necessary, corrected. It also includes ancillary publications or works as well as bibliographies, some of them accompanied by pictures.
Spread over 1,800 pages are the names and details of Maltese personalities who made important contributions to the Maltese islands. Although some of the names are fairly well known, many others are less known and in some cases, at least, readers may be astonished to hear of their contributions and achievements both in Malta and abroad.
