Description
The signing of the peace accord between the Israelis and the Palestinians on the White House lawn in September 1993 was accompanied by almost universal jubilation.
But there were many who were against it as they felt that Arafat’s concessions amounted to total surrender and were determined to derail this accord.
A clique of Arafat’s opponents get together and hatch a plot to get rid of him. They contact Namusa, a rabid anti-Zionist, to arrange kidnapping Arafat and to remove him from power and to take him to a sympathetic country where he could be questioned about his policy and to find out the details of the agreement.
The plane he is flying on out of Egypt is hijacked. But it all goes wrong and ends up landing in Malta
