Description
After a positive beginning with last year’s launch, Arkivju is now in its second issue. The journal conitnues to emphasise its dual objective: that of presenting research coming directly from material held at the National Archives of Malta along with other research dealing with archival and library sciences and associated studies.
It is worthwhile highlighting the other feature which is an integral part of Arkivju, that is, the colour section that brings to the public interesting illustrations and other items that the NAM has within its collection and which tend to go unnoticed with those who have never come in contact with these particular files. Yet, becoming conscious of them will help to increase awareness towards the wealth of heritage material waiting to be discovered, studied and written about.
