Anne and her friends take on the task, as the ‘Improvers’ to beautify Avonlea through donations from the inhabitants, while persuading them to beautify their farm entrances.
Anne lives with Marilla and together they raise Davy and Dora, after their mother’s death. Will Anne uphold her principles of never caning a child at school? Will Stephen Irving marry his love, Miss Lavendar?
