Description
From an early age the author has shown interest in insects. In 1997, he received training in butterfly farming at the Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm, UK. His Bachelors degree dissertation, “Aspects in the Ecology of Maltese Odonata” sparked his interest in dragonflies and damselflies. Since then he has published a number of papers on Maltese Odonata ad is the Maltese representative in a team of European odonatologists who have authored the “Atlas of the Odonata of the Mediterranean and North Africa” and who are currently working on the forthcoming publication of the “Atlas of the Odonata of Europe“. He is also a member of the Entomological Society of Malta.
