Description

“This is a primary source told in the form of a story on Malta’s boom in corruption and rent seeking during the government administration of Labour Party leader Joseph Muscat.

The book starts by giving a historical background to Malta’s history of rent seeking and continues with an untold story on the Libyan contraband oil business, with a back-story on drugs and the obscure and shady relationship between Keith Schembri and oil smugglers.

I explain different facets of Joseph Muscat’s rent seeking regime as seen from my position as a government executive and I also tell the story of what happened inside the Labour Party during the November/December crisis of 2019 from the point of view of a party delegate.

Through my experience as a bureaucrat, I describe how the bureaucracy and the civil service were important to facilitate and execute corruption.

I am also absolutely convinced that Joseph Muscat is corrupt and knew of the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia in advance, although I cannot prove this. I’m not a judge, and I’m not a court of law. I’m just a historian who happens to have been a Labour Party delegate and a government executive, so what the hell do I know?”

This book contains explicit language and is not suitable for people under the age of eighteen.
