Description

1565: The Great Siege of Malta is an exhibition organised by Heritage Malta and Malta Libraries at the Grand Master’s Palace, Valletta as part of the national festivities to commemorate the 450th anniversary of the Great Siege of 1565. It was officially inaugurated by Her Excellency the President of the Republic on 4 September 2015.

The exhibition is but the climax of a number of events commemorating the Great Siege of 1565. During 2015 a series of complementary events targeting diverse audiences were held.
