Prof. Charles Savona-Venture is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist and head of the department serving rhat speciality in the University of Malta. Besides his professional writings, he has also published a significant number of works addressing Maltese medical history in referred journals and as books or monographs. This publication merges Prof. Savona-Ventura’s two main research interests.
