Description
Constructivist Teaching in Primary School constitutes a collective effort to weld scholarly research on constructivism with reflections on real class-based experiences and with concrete suggestions on how classrooms can be transformed into zones of knowledge production and meaning making. Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, ICT and Design and Technology are foregrounded as contributors reclaim the importance of child-centeredness in the teaching-learning process. This text should appeal to educators who are genuinely re-thinking their practice in the light of the challenges posed by the principles & objectives of the National Minimum Curriculum.
