Francis Cachia was born in Valletta. His tertiary education was accomplished in Malta, Angland, the USA, Italy and Germany. He has pursued careers in diplomacy, teaching and the media. His books include both scholarly and literary works. On 4th October 2005, he presented his letters of credence as Malta’s Ambassador to H.E Dr.Ivan Gasparovic, President of Slovakia.
