Selmun offers picturesque views, depicting sharp contrasts between sky, sea, tilled fields, coutnry lanes, trees and garigue land. To enjoy this beautiful environment in the future, we have to do our utmost to treasure and safeguard what we have, and help, respect and take care of nature.
While following these walks we often meet with the black on yellow signs “Warning”. These should not alarm us and they are only meant to draw our attention to be even more careful to avoid any unnecessary danger, both to ourselves and to others. All of these six walks are perfectly safe, as long as we obey the helpful hints given in this book, where even the slightest danger is indicated. It is also very important to keep a watchful eye if children are present during these walks.
